Changes to the precure tread range for 2011-2012

The following products will appear in our catalogue for the first time this year:

KRAIBURG has developed the K 224 for retreads on buses and coaches in urban traffic and on national routes. The new block-type tread on the all-round line K_base has open shoulders and a heavily siped centre rib - hence its excellent traction properties in rain, mud, ice and snow. As it wears, its profile changes from a block-type to a ribbed tread. As such, the K 224 guarantees a higher final mileage in the snow-free months. It is currently available in widths of 230 mm and 240 mm with a tread depth of 17.5 mm. There are plans to add a 250 mm version to the range at the beginning of May.

The K 225 is another KRAIBURG in-house design. This block-type tread with open shoulders is designed for long-distance and regional road traffic and is marked out by an exceptionally high number of ribs which guarantee optimum traction and grip in wintry road conditions. The 22 mm-depth tread will be available in widths of 250 and 270 mm from May onwards - in addition to the 260 mm width which is already available.

A new tread pattern in the all-round line K_base is the K 77 which replaces the K 70. The block-type tread with excellent traction properties and open shoulders has been designed for solid rubber industrial retreads for forklift trucks. It is currently available in five different widths of 137, 150, 160, 170 and 190 mm. There are plans to extend the range in future.
