KRAIBURG Austria is also actively involved in the Tyre-Labeling discussion.
Tyre-Labeling is excepted to become compulsory for retreaded tyres until the end of 2015.
KRAIBURG has set up an internal project group working on different aspects of the Tyre-Labeling. The project is divided in 5 sub-projects:

Furthermore we are actively taking part as the only material-supplier in the BIPAVER "Re-Tyre" project.
The project members are retreaders (Banden Plan, RIG, Insa Turbo, Carling, Bandvulk) and several retreading associations like BIPAVER, VACO, BRV, AIRP, AER and SVP.
The Re-Tyre project shall provide a political solution (compliance in line with regulation EC/661/2009 and EC/1222/2009) and an IT-Tool to assist the independent (most of them small and medium sized companys), to predict and implement all relevant environmental and safety standards before start of production.
