High Performance Premium Line K_plus

The new premium line K_plus is the new KRAIBURG endurance line. It has 13 highly specialised drive and winter treads for all trucks and buses, which are very convincing with outstanding adherence and mileage – whether for long distance or regional traffic. Tests have shown that, depending on use, the current premium line K_plus yields up to 25 percent more mileage than the current KRAIBURG high-performance compound Kplus 30. The newly designed special synthetic rubber compound consists of 70 percent SBR* and 30 percent BR* (formerly 100 percent natural rubber). This makes K_plus into an “endurance” line for all road-dependent applications with the primary demand being for high resistance to wear and high final mileage. Here, the high percentage of synthetic rubber has good adhesion in the wet through higher energy consumption in the higher frequency range; however it also has extraordinarily good mileage potential. The good rolling resistance level for a synthetic rubber compound is attributable to the K_plus profile, which is a combination of SBR and BR.
