The use of K_Side technology significantly enhances the retreaded tyre with a look comparable to the new tyre. Due to the interchangeable labeling fields, the sidewall can be designed individually.

As a result of the specially developed temperature-resistant rubber compound for the sidewall matrice, high endurance can be achieved.

GUARANTEED ONE STEP WIDER

Carcasses of steering axle tires, especially with heavy shoulder abrasion or open shoulder décor, have a limited covering width after roughening compared to the drive tire. In cooperation with VMI-AZ, a technology has been developed that enables shoulder widening by up to 25 mm. This requires a CTC extruder with a K_wide expansion kit.

We have developed a special construction material for shoulder extension: AK01.
Only this material optimally combines the requirements of a standard binding rubber with those of shoulder construction, as required for the K_wide process. KRAIBURG AK01 build-up material is available in previous dimensions as a feeding strip and replaces the normal binding rubber for the CTC extruder even if no shoulder construction is carried out.

Extensive tests have confirmed
that cold-retreaded tires with K_wide Technology meet both the product testing specifications according to ECE-R 109 and the dynamic requirements in use.
